A friend gave me a photo of this Cape Vulture, I think it was taken at a feeding site in the Drakensberg, the photo has a plain background so I decided to include mountains to make the bird stand out better.

 The first time I saw these birds at a kill, the thing that impressed me most about them was their size, these are big birds, make no mistake. Twenty or thirty of them around a carcass, ripping at flesh, fighting each other and making a lot of noise, left an impression that I am unlikely to forget.
