A real rough tough chap with thick bill and plumage which is unmistakable. They bore into soft dead trees to create a nest, [using an electric drill and hole saw would be a far better option for birds suffering with migraine] however, once nesting they defend the area with vigour. They chase all birds and even humans from the area, making it quite difficult for some people to walk in their own gardens. It's not nice having a barbet bouncing off your head.

In this painting, Mr. Barbet is the M.D. of Timber Sales cc. He is out there showing the rest of the staff how the job should be done. You will find him to be quite friendly. HE WANTS YOUR MONEY
